'Rent' at the Old Joint Stock Pub and Theatre, Birmingham.

In December 2013 I was asked to produce a few graffiti tags for a production of 'RENT' at the Old Joint Stock Theatre in Birmingham.

Below are the final images, painted on brick style wallpaper with acrylic.

No Day But Today

Viva La Vie Boheme painted with Acrylic straight onto the wall.

(Unfortunately due to the lighting, most of the top was in the shadows)

And here are the initial graffiti ideas which were firstly sketched out and painted with watercolours.

No Day But Today

Altogether it took about three full days to complete the two tags and after all the hard work, I got to see the show on the opening night! It was an absolutely fantastic performance and made me cry!

After the run was over, I was asked by another Theatre company, The Arcadians, to do some more graffiti for their production of RENT at the Crescent Theatre in Brindley Place, Birmingham, which showed in May 2014.
