On that very rainy Monday

Sunday 6 December 2009

Good morning my little sunflowers!
Hope you are all having fun with your creative splurges.
I haven't had chance to post much work recently as i've been busy preparing for the final hand in at Uni before heading home for christmas! yaaaay!
At the moment i'm working on some Christmas cards, as a little side project, for close family and friends and also the final page layouts for the 'Oscar' children's book.
Unfortunately i won't be able to post anything until after christmas because i don't have a scanner at home but i will hopefully be putting up the christmas cards i make, next week.
Have a fantastic Sunday!
Loadza love, huggles, smoochies and Jellytots.

Third Year Olio piece

"You asked me recently
why i maintain i am afraid of you"
We were asked to design a piece based around the phrase
above to be entered into the Third Year Olio which is a published magazine.
My idea was about the kinds of fears in which stationary faces in everyday life.

Outsider

The Lonely Biscuit
Second Year project called 'Outsider'. I came up with the idea of biscuits and how they feel when they're in the biscuit tin, being picked, fearing that they won't ever be picked and being left to go mouldy. This was then made into a hardback book.

Personal Splurts

Above is a small piece i did using a mix of tissue paper, watercolour and acrylic for our second year Publication project at Uni.

Sometimes i just get a random thing in my head that i want to draw.
This time it was moths.

Bird/Man Second year project work

One of our briefs was Bird/Man. This could be taken in any way, shape or form we wished. I chose to do a piece on Magpies, combining it with the Man made tune. This was then made into a small book and taken to a few nearby book fairs.
